Hey TO you!

Sorry it's been a while since my last post. Anyway here are some updates on whats been going on First, we celebrated Johns birthday yesterday. The kids decided to make him a cake (and don't worry I made him a German chocolate cake from scratch). If you want the recipe I know the chefs. Second I finished the curtain for my kitchen and I love the fabric! after months and months of looking I came across this fabric and it was exactly what I was looking for, I loved it so much I went back and bought all they had so I could make curtains for my living room. And if you ever want to make curtains try using grommets they look really nice and are super easy to use. And last but not least this gorgeous jacket! this is my Birthday-Christmas present! I love houndstooth and decided I wanted a houndstooth jacket and went in search for one and came home with this beauty. Anyway I hope you are having a great holiday season so far.

October=Projects

Happy Halloween! Julia was Tinkerbell, she looked pretty darn cute as Tinkerbell. Elijah was Jack Sparrow, you have got to love the dreds! he loved telling everybody that he was Jack Sparrow. And who is Tinkerbell without PeterPan, and that would be Noah, he made a really cute PeterPan and he actually loved wearing his hat. And allot of you know that I love to sew, and this years challenge was Giselles wedding dress from Enchanted, and after hours and hours of sewing, beading, drawing and lots and lots of glitter this is how it turned out. Not to brag, well I guess I am bragging a little, I think it turned out SOOO CUTE! it was real eyecatcher were ever we went, everybody loved it. I do have to say that Makenna made an awesome Giselle and she looked so beautiful.

October has been a really crazy month for me! lots and lots of Projects. First project was making Makenna's invitations to her Birthday party. And then Julia was the star of the week which required a poster. And yea you know me I couldn't just make a simple poster, I had to make the best poster ever, and after allot of hours I think it turned out pretty darn CUTE! it sure brought back allot of memories. I just kept looking at her and thinking gosh she is so Beautiful!

Happy Birthday!

My Makenna turned 7 years old today, the time does fly! I can't belive its been 7years since this little girl blessed our house. She is such a talented little girl, who is always willing to help. She is such a sweetheart and a sweet spirit. She loves going to school, and doing any thing related to crafts. I just amazing to watch her grow and learn, she is turning into a little lady! she lost her first tooth a couple weeks ago and was so excited to get a dollar from the toothfairy. I wish I had her energy! all I have to say is her Mommy and Daddy are so lucky to have her. We love you Makenna!

Sorry it's been a LONG! time

Sorry I haven't posted for a while, my life has been pretty crazy lately with all the school schedules. There really hasn't been a whole lot of excitement going on right now, but I do no one thing that Halloween is around the corner and its costume making time for me! And for those of you that know me know that I love Halloween and love making my kids costume. I do have to say that I'm (alot) competitive when it come to costumes. And yes I know I'm crazy! because I will research the costume I'm making so looks like an exact replica. And this year it is Giselle from Enchanted yes the big White Wedding dress. I'm starting a little later then I wanted to, and I have a lot of work ahead of me. So this is how bad I am I spent hours on the Internet trying to find pictures of the full dress and no! I tryed every search engine possible and finally I got lucky, I went to this blog and some lady had went to see Enchanted at this theatre, were they had all of the original costumes on display and the wedding dress was one of them, she had taken detailed photos, and when I saw that I started screaming like a school girl, I was so excited. Yes I know I'm a DORK! so I have started the dress, I will post some pictures of my work in progress. And here are some of the pictures from that blog. I hope everybody is doing good. What are you going to be for HALLOWEEN!

Late Night!

Well after almost 2 years of not scrapbooking, a couple nights ago I just went down stairs and did a page! and yes it took me about 3 hours, on one page. That's just crazy! but overall I think it turned out pretty cute, I guess it should be some-what cute after three hours of intense concentration and staying up till 2:00am in the morning. In the end I liked what I did, and it felt really good to be creative again. I'm going to have to do it more often. Scrapbook night here I come. Oh and I'm going to try and work on the time frame and whip a page out in 20 min(yeah right) I will certainly try.

The first day of School!

Sorry this post is a little late. Well the kids started school, and they are loving every minute of it! they love going to school, Makenna and Julia started a new school this year, so I was a little nervous on how Makenna was going to react to a new school, but she loves her teacher and loves going to school. Julia started kindergarten this year and she loves going to school and loves her teacher, she had to tell everybody what she did in school. Elijah started pre-school, and gets so excited to go to school, he ask me everyday "is it school today?" So they are all having a great time at school. So we will see if it last.

My not so LITTLE brother is getting Married!

My Little brother is getting married in September, and I say not so little because he is 6"4. Anyway he is marring a great girl! she is such a sweetheart, and they are the perfect match. This last week I went to Mt. Pleasant and took some pictures of the cute couple. And on Friday night I spent some time and I made their wedding invitation, with Jessica's help. Jessica is my brother's fiance, the most time was spent going through the pictures. They turned out so cute! it was hard deciding. In the end I think the invite turned out really great. And these two look so great together! I'm so excited to have a new sister coming into the family.

A few UPDATES!

1- Julia lost her first TOOTH on Saturday, it just fell out
while she was watching a movie at Grandma's house
and Grandma had to scavenge around the floor to find it. And Yeah Grandma was
a HERO and found the long lost TOOTH!
So we put the tooth in an envelope and she put it under her pillow for the
Toothfairy. When she woke up in the morning the Toothfairy
had left her a whole dollar! she was really excited!

2- After months in a box! my gorgeous! Chandelier has made its way to my ceiling!
And I absolutely LOVE IT! it's exactly what I wanted. I can't stop looking at it.
And its so SPARKLY, and those of you that know me, know that I love
SPARKLY things! Thanks to my awesome MOM that can do pretty much EVERYTHING!
She installed it for me, and afterwards we just stood in AWE of this
Beauty!

Can I just Say again how much I LOVE this Chandelier!

Princess Festival

Today me and 3 Tinks attended the First Annual Princess Festival. We had a great time, oh and did I mention how darn cute they looked. And to brag a little bit, they were the cutest ones there. Anyway first they had to rescue Rapunzel from an evil Ogre!

Then they helped Cinderella get away from her evil stepsisters and get to the ball to dance with the prince.

And last but not least they tryed on a slipper and danced with the Handsome Prince! This was so much fun we plan on doing it next year to. And another added bonus was all the proceeds from this festival 100% were going to a charity. So we had a great time and helped out at the same time.

A Few Little Things

It's been a crazy July for us! and I can't believe that July is almost over. We have done some fun things this month. On Tuesday we went to Lagoon with the family and the cousins. And the kids had a great time, they had the most fun running through the fountain and getting soaked. Noah was right in there with them. And Julia, was crazy if you can't tell by the following picture of her. They loved getting soaked.

We also got to go see a helicopter training, thanks to my friend Andrea her husband is in the military and they do this training once a month so we were able to go this time. And the kids loved it! we all had a great time. it was really cool to see all the guys jumping out of an airplane. I tell you, if you like men in uniform this was the place to be. And I love this picture below, it was my favorite.

Anyway just a few little things going on here and there, I hope everybody is having a great summer. OH and Happy Pioneer Day!

My little pattie cake Man

Well Noah had a little milestone today, he turned 18 months! and Sunday was his first time at nursery, he loved it. I walked in holding him and as soon as he saw the toys he practically jumped out of my arms and knee walked over to the toys and didn't even look back. Knee walk you say, yes he is a very fast Knee walker it is quite the funny site to see your little boy almost running except for he is on his knees. He is starting to walk allot more in the last few days, so that is exciting. He also love to do Pattie cake and if you start you better plan on singing over and over again. This little guy is such a sweet heart and so full of life, he has so much energy and attitude. Noah is the sugar in my life and always has a smile and kiss for his mommy. I'm truly blessed to have this little angel in my life, I'm so glad he chose me to be his mommy for ever!

A Few Little Things

One exciting thing is I'm taking a photography class with my girls Cherise and Andrea, our first class was on Tuesday and it was alot of fun. I learned alot from one class. And it was really nice having a couple hours to spend without children and have some adult conversation. And me and Cherise have also been doing the Parade of Homes we did that last year and had a blast, so we are doing it again this year and so far it has been alot of fun.
This is me trying to soak my foot with a little help from all the kids, and of course Noah had to have both feet in. And the girls had to have their hands in it the whole time.

Nothing to exciting going on with me right now. I did get my cast of last week, and let me tell you that was not fun! at all! and I took a picture of the pins they took out of my foot and that was not fun either. I figured I would show the picture of the pins and if you want to see a picture of my Frankenstien foot you let me know.
