Hello

Sorry I haven't posted for awhile things have been crazy at my house. First I had foot surgery in April and trying to take care of 4 kids with a cast is not fun. But I do have to say that this surgery wasn't as bad as last time. on Tuesday of last week the cast came of and the pins came out, and can I tell you, that was the worst pain I have ever felt. Hey I'm done with the foot surgery's and yesterday I was able to put a shoe on my left foot for the 1st time in 7weeks so that was exciting for me. Other then that, trying to finish the sewing projects and starting on Makenna's baptism dress! I can't believe she is getting baptised this year. The kids are good and getting so big. I will try and keep up on the post!

Baptisim Dress (check)

I finished on of my last project for the next 7 weeks. I had foot surgery on Friday, and every thing went really good, except recovery took me a little longer this time for some reason I had a hard time breathing so kept having to keep me on oxygen and finally around 5:00 I was able to go home, and have been doing good.

Well my project last week was this Baptism dress that I made for my niece Aleena, she is getting Baptized in a few weeks. I had a loved making this dress for her, I was so excited to make a dress for such a special occasion and for such a sweet girl. And on Wednesday we went out and took pictures, we had allot of fun! and I do have to say that my niece is sooo Gorgeous! I'm really looking forward to her Baptism.
Anyway I will try to keep up on the post, I'm not really coherent when I have had all my pain meds.

Love that Pottery Barn!

I do have to say, that I LOVE anything to do with Pottery Barn! they always have great Ideas when it comes to decorating, and lots of cute stuff. I was looking at the Pottery Barn sight last week when I came across this.

And I absolutely LOVED IT! I loved how the pictures came out from the wall to give that 3-D affect. I looked to see how they did that and it was called a frame riser. And the price was $16.00 for a little frame riser. I loved the affect so I was determined to do the same thing but for allot less money. So I went to the Hardware store and found L Brackets and some bolts and the total cost around $7.00 for both frames. And this is the end result! if you want full details e-mail me and I will tell you how I did it. I love how it turned out! What do you think!

Happy Birthday BUDDY!

Well Elijah turned 4 years old on the 12th. If you cant tell January is a busy month with two birthday right after each other. Well we went to the skating rink for Elijah's Birthday and he invited a few friends. They had a great time! he wanted a spider man cake so he got one. Courtesy of Sheri, she lives right down the street and makes the cutest cakes. I got creative and made Elijah's birthday invite and Noah's I don't have any picture of Noah's yet, but when I do I will post them. Anyway I can't believe my little boy is 4 years old! and he is all boy for sure! and at the same time just a big teddy bear. He loves people, and going to school and fixing things with daddy's tools. He is such a sweetie and a smooth talker he always seems to tell me I look beautiful right before he gets into trouble. One thing I love is that he always say to me "I love you MOMMY" that enough to melt my heart. Any today was a great day for Elijah, he came down with CHICKENPOX! yes CHICKENPOX!
he was exposed at pre-school, so I have great times ahead. I had to cancel my foot surgery that was supposed to be on Friday, I didn't want to take any chances because most likely the rest of the crew will end-up with CHICKENPOX! exciting days ahead for me.
Lots Of Love

Sorry its been awhile since I have posted. January is always a busy month for me. I have two boys that were born within 9 days of each other. Anyway My little Noah turned 2 years old on the 3rd, and I'm still in shock I cant believe my little baby is 2 years old and in celebration we had a little birthday party for him. He loves Wall-e so needless to say we had a Wall-e Birthday for him. We had a great time! I still cant believe this little guy is 2! he is such a sweetheart and so full of life! he is so smart! he is always blowing me away with his words and what he says. He is such a lover boy, he loves snuggling and giving kisses. And he loves-loves-loves very soft things. So for Christmas I made him some minky blankets and pillow cases and he loves them. I love watching him grow and learn new things, he is such a blessing to his family We LOVE you Noah!

Hey TO you!

Sorry it's been a while since my last post. Anyway here are some updates on whats been going on First, we celebrated Johns birthday yesterday. The kids decided to make him a cake (and don't worry I made him a German chocolate cake from scratch). If you want the recipe I know the chefs. Second I finished the curtain for my kitchen and I love the fabric! after months and months of looking I came across this fabric and it was exactly what I was looking for, I loved it so much I went back and bought all they had so I could make curtains for my living room. And if you ever want to make curtains try using grommets they look really nice and are super easy to use. And last but not least this gorgeous jacket! this is my Birthday-Christmas present! I love houndstooth and decided I wanted a houndstooth jacket and went in search for one and came home with this beauty. Anyway I hope you are having a great holiday season so far.
